Introducing Coloured Purflings
My aim as a guitar builder has always been to let the natural beauty of the woods shine through.  I still strive to ensure that the various woods are chosen to compliment each other and add to the overall beauty of the instrument.
This guitar represents my first variation of this approach. By using coloured purflings, in this case green, I am adding a new visual dimension to my instruments. The green purflings add a subtle and beautiful contrast to not only the African Blackwood back & sides but also to the geometric sound hole ring as well as the head and fretboard detailing. In addition to green, I plan to offer several other colours, all available as special order options.
